MONTAINS, RIVERS AND LAKES
• PLAURIS MOUNT, the highest mountain in the Carnic Pre-Alps, an interesting destination for its variety of natural surroundings (47 km from us)
• MONTASIO UPLAND, an amazing place! You can arrive by car, park close to the local farm (where you can enjoy the local milk products) and start your walk along the sunny paths. There you will find a mountain hut where you can rest after your trip (79 km from us)

• RILKE’S TRAIL overlooks the sea between Sistiana and Duino. It offers one of the most beautiful view of Trieste Gulf. The walk is short and not difficult, and it is located in the Cliffs’ Natural Reserve (75 km from us)
